Phoenix Fire Castle

High atop the cliffs of Castle Ridge sits an elegant structure of spiraling minarets and conical towers. Phoenix Fire Castle is home to the Phoenix Queen and the base of operations for the forces of Good in the Realm of Eternity. The Fiery Throne of the Phoenix Queen is located in the center court of the Castle, surrounded by the great libraries of arcane wisdom and technological know-how. Here, the Phoenix Queen holds court and directs the operations of defense and study. The preservation and protection of the Power of Eternity are the main day-to-day concerns and objectives to the administration of Phoenix Fire Castle. Power radiates through the halls, cascading inspiration, health, and knowledge through the territories of Castle Ridge.

Architecture

Phoenix Fire Castle is a gleaming beacon of hope and majesty. Seven great towers surround the center structure. Each wall is designed with cylindrical elegance. Long waving banners fly from the tall minarets. The stone work shines with the sheen of magical protection. Automated defense systems whir, unseen in the corners and atop the walls.

History

Phoenix Fire Castle has existed for as long as the Phoenix Queen has existed. That is to say, the Palace is as eternal as the queen, as eternal as Eternity. Time is of little consequence to fixed anchors in the Realm of Eternity. As such, Phoenix Fire Castle stands as it has always stood, as it will always stand.
There are many historical accounts wherein the Great Villains of Eternity attempt to take control of the gleaming castle. Defenders of Eternity, the great heroes with their mighty Swords of Power and vast arcane and technological knowledge, have long protected Phoenix Fire Castle from the corrupting grip of the worst Villains of the land.
With the great heroes gone, what will become of the castle the next time a Villain initiates a plot to occupy the mighty fortification?
