Structure

The club elects a president during its yearly festival of High Flight. The president is often refered to as silverwings due to the silver pin of a kite, the club's only insignia of rank. The president is tasked with the planning of next years festival, the settling of disputes between kiteflyers, and managing the club's treasury consisting solely of kiteflying materials.

Public Agenda

The club organizes monthly competitions and the anual festival of High Flight. In recent years the practice of kiteflying has spread to the cities of Khylion and Ramtop where chapters of the club can now be found. This was the lifelong dream of founder Anton Tanglestrand whom wanted to unite all the people of Atmos in a love for kiteflying.

History

The club was founded decades ago by Anton Tanglestrand, who soon after was lost in a tragic kiteflying accident when his kite was caught in a gale that lifted him clean off the ground and swept him away.
