The Battle of Redham Plain
The Battle of Redham Plain was a decisive battle in the Flowlands rebellion, in which a rebel army of some 23,000 men under Lord-Elector Bentin of House Galt was defeated by a host of House Moralvon bannermen, vassals, and loyalists. The battle saw the deaths of Lords Kolle Galt, brother of Lord-Elector Bentin, and Enna Fonton, a second son of the ruler of the Keld and volunteer commander in the rebel army, and marked an initial turning point in the rebellion, putting a firm halt to the series of rebel victories in recent weeks and allowing House Moralvon time to stabilize their position in the war, shore up their position, and begin to push back toward Rale and other strategically important cities throughout the Flowlands.
