Core Principles

There are a few key elements to those who practice Heavenly Strike. These elements are central to the martial art's key concept: Pinpointing the target's weaknesses and relentlessly exploiting them.

  • Assassination Art: Heavenly Strike is created for battles of life or death, although practicioners can usually hold back to avoid killing if they wish. Heavenly Strike practicioners are typically capable of using agility to avoid enemy offense, and use vital strikes, elbows, knuckle strikes as the main attacks in their offense.
  • God Eye: All practicioners of Heavenly Strike learn the God Eye Qi technique. They use this ability to pinpoint weaknesses in their opponent's body before striking at their vitals to kill or cripple them.
  • Qi Blockage: Heavenly Strike users are capable of striking at their opponent's Qi centers to prevent them from using Qi. This technique is extremely advanced and difficult to master.

Weapons

As trained killers, practicioners of Heavenly Strike are taught how to use weapons as well.

  • Glaive: Although ceremonial in purpose, Emerald Guardians often wield glaives when protecting members of the Guanyin Dynasty. They use these spears with great precision.
  • Chain Whip: A chained, whip-like weapon with a short blade at the end of it. Used to restrain and strike opponents from afar.
  • Double-Head Spear: A spear with blades at both ends of its shaft. The weapon can be detatched to transform into two blades.
