According to Rucex Mediyar is a creature from another plane, he grew up like a mortal and eventually reached godhood by his heroic deeds to protect those who believed in him. When he reached godhood Rucex made contact with him and invited him to help her plane too, he accepted and protected his home and our world at the same time. eventually his mortal body died in combat with a Thoron dragon threatening a friend of his. but even without a body his influence and blessings are still recognizable across his devout believers.
