History

The goliaths hail from Govelland, an icy tundra where only the harshest flora and fauna will survive, Growing up in these harsh conditions the goliaths learned to work together, they invented the first ships and with these ships they raided the other nations of Averia giving them a reputation that still persists to this day: a fearsome folk that are better left alone. Their lands are mysterious and full of dangerous magic and creatures that are better left alone, this is why even though the lands of Gol and Norvelland are one of the largest ones, their population is equal to smaller nations like Tulvia or Secerus. Between the larger settlements is a lot of wilderness that is suggested to travel quickly through it, or preferably not at all.   In the war against the Stahl Gol and Norvelland where one of the first nations to feel the power of the Stahlist tide, but even though the Stahlist forces where with many and their weapons beyond the Goliath understanding, they managed to keep them at bay and their front rarely shifted in the war. only adding to their fearsome reputation.
