The Plagued Lands

In this world, nearly everything has succumbed to a mysterious Plague. However, there is one... thing- that has the cure. Now, everyone must go there in order to be saved. But, the Plaguemaster gets their kicks in...sadistic ways. Albert Duckinsworth, our protagonist, is but a simple Blacksmith apprentice. One day, the Plaguemaster takes a visit to the shop. But it isn't there to buy anything. No, it wants to fuel its sadistic quota. It chose Albert's dad, the Blacksmith, for torture and death. Now, Albert's out for revenge. Revenge for her dad, her shop, which was burned, and for the hundreds that died under the Plaguemaster's rule. She only has a katana, food, a gasmask, a pocket watch, and a purple crossbow that her dad made for her on his 16th birthday. Will she get vengeance, or will she be the Plaguemaster's fool?
