Physical Description

General Physical Condition

While traveling, I generally wear my armor and proudly carry my shield bearing the symbol of Belenus, the face of a man radiating sunlight. Due to my current situation, I have been hiding my face behind a cloak in hopes of avoiding the forces that hunt me. While relaxing, I enjoy wearing a burgundy dress with a long-sleeve undershirt. It was a handmade dress my mother gave to me for my birthday last year.

Personal history

I grew up in the state of Ebrington in a smaller town near the outskirts of the capital. My parents owned a tailor shop within the capital and would sell the finest clothes to nobles and rich merchants. As the eldest daughter of five, I was set to marry some rich merchant's son to expand my families influence. However, the night of my fifteenth birthday, I was visited by a deva. The angel told me that a great war that would decide the freedom of Ebrington and all the other city-states would occur and that I was chosen to become Belenus's champion.   At first, I did not believe such claims. However, throughout the next two years, the rebellion forces grew and soon it became apparent that war was inevitable. Tried as I might, I could not convince my mother and father of my vision. My grandmother, she told me the secret of my grandfather's deeds and gave me the support I needed. She helped me train in secret and postponed my engagement. I ran away upon the start of the war and headed to towards on the front lines.   The first time I presented myself, I was denied an audience with the rebel leader (whom the DM is yet to name). But I persisted. I gained a small following and was brought before him. I was threatened and accused of being a Taergorian spy. However, I kept strong and allowed my faith in Belenus to guide me. I asked the rebel leader to test me. I was questioned by several clerics of Belenus and one after another claimed that I was blessed by the sun itself. And from there, the rest is history. I worked with the rebellion forces, allowing my faith in Belenus to guide me and strengthen after every victory and defeat. I became a symbol for the war effort and was used extensively for propaganda. They called me the Angel of the Sun and the name stuck ever since.   In the end, we managed to do the impossible, free the five states from the control of Taergoria. I spent the next fifteen years traveling from region to region aiding all those affected by the war and instilling hope and courage. By the end, I was tired and wanted rest. I was given a manor in the capital of Ebrington for my deeds. I reconnected with my family for a few years enjoying the time of peace even with the ever-looming presence of Taergoria.   About a month ago, I started having a lingering feeling of being watched. One evening, a servant poisoned my food and I had terrible vivid nightmares of the war that had not plagued me for years. I woke up in the middle of the night realizing that someone was watching me. I was then ambushed in my own home and barely managed to escape. The next morning, I questioned the servant and he had no recollection of poisoning my meal. The governor has him arrest nonetheless, leaving me confused. I mediated in my garden and was visited by the same Deva. He tells me that I must go and seek a group of adventures in Dragonreach. The deva showed me the image of the group. I was to protect them and they would lead me to salvation. If I were to remain as I am, the dark creature that hunts me would surely consume my soul.   That night, I began to make preparations to leave. I bribed smugglers to smuggle me out of the city undetected and by the end of the week I was able to leave with only what few items I can carry. I travel now alone and for once unsure of the fate my god has in store for me.
