Thedallia - Capital of Genesede ("Fee-Dal-Lee-Ah")

Thedallia

Description

Thedallia is the Capital City of Genesede, the universe's centre for trade. It stretches all the way from the northeast coast to the northwest coast of the Elnara super-continent, taking up a total area of 55.11 million km2 , almost exceeding the total area taken by Asia and Europe combined. Its capitol building is located in the exact geographical centre of the super-continent, resembling an excessively up-sized tree carrying the Thedallian Grand Temple atop its mighty logs.
The city itself is mostly comprised of large, looming towers which also resemble oversized trees- Brown walls resembling bark with additional buildings branching off from the main one. They are individually topped with luscious, entirely organic plant-life which also moves down and wraps around the towers, blooming with orangey-red flowers which can grow to the size of a baby elephant. A single tower can raise almost a kilometre into the sky, housing thousands of families. The capitol building is surrounded by much smaller but equally as impressive towers constructed not of a bark-like material but instead of marble, each of which are used for trade. It also closely neighbours the Thedallian University, which is considered one of if not THE best school in the entirety of the universe, having educated some of the smartest individuals who have lived- Including Corvax Nentil.

History

After the dawn of creation, Thedall created the Elder Gods; Divine beings of unimaginable power who were each delegated to the individual components (the "Concepts") of the universe. The Gods then spread life throughout the universe, populating every nook and cranny of existence.   But they knew that life may fall astray, so they then created the Elder species- Younger, less divine beings who could interact with the universe in a way that the Elder Gods could not. The Elder Gods gave them a home; A large city, on a safe and resource-abundant planet- This city was Thedallia. The Gods then gave them a temple- which all Elders would be required to visit. Here, the Gods taught the Elders the ways of the universe- How maths works, how to write, how to read, how the universe itself functions.. The list goes on. They then told the Elders to spread this word, and to spread Thedallism so that others may be protected by the light, and defended from the Eternal Darkness presented by Calamity.
