The Roving Clan
A group of people that travels around the Aljashean Desert collecting valuable resources and selling them to the cities of Aljashe. The Roving clan is similar to the nomadic tribes that inhabit the Aljashean desert, but they are much more commercialized and more like a business in terms of hierarchy. Despite being a fairly new clan, they have rapidly increased in size and capital, making them the largest organization in the Aljashean desert. While most nomadic tribes stick together as one unit of people most of the time, the Roving clan splits up into many smaller groups in an attempt to maximize their influence and effectiveness.
When the guild leaders came together to found Aljashe in 945 CE, the Roving clan immediately became the go-to organization for domestic trade transportation.
Despite not being one of the major guilds that rule Aljashe, the Roving clan has substantial political influence. The trade infrastructure that the Roving clan provides is one of the major backbones of the Aljashean economy, and if the entire Roving clan were to cease working for just a week, the Aljashean economy would most likely be in ruins.
Leading the Roving clan is no small feat. Not only is it a sizable organization, but to manage such a vast trading network and make it run smoothly is nearly inconceivable.
