The Teroyura Priests

On the island of Teroyura, a cult recently took form surrounding a new scientific discovery. Let’s study this subject more. 

A scientific advancement and a great research

For more than a century now, scientists from all over the archipel have tried to discover the truth behind the migration of dragons. But they seemed to have difficulties doing so because of :

the fact that not all dragons seemed to migrate. Only a few actually did, and not all from the same species. Not all of the danger species either which was viewed as very strange by the scientific community

The fact that the meteorological seasons didn’t seem to affect these migration in any way. Nor did the moons or the sun, or any of the other adjacent planets

The fact that it basically doesn’t change the lives of the citizens in any way and those scientists seemed to have difficulties to find funding for these researches

But recently, the scientific community has welcomed for the first time since forever a few female scientists who thought about looking at it in a different manner. Instead of thinking by dragon species, they looked at it from the genre point of view, suddenly realising that mostly females went away during these migrations. This idea le to another discovery which is that those dragons always came back more in number than when they left in the first place. The conclusion after that has been obvious: the dragons go away from the Mountain to give birth in another place, probably more suited for babies.

An island that took the matter further

Of course the research has been thoroughly verified with long observations and notes and paintings to depict with the utmost accuracy the phenomenon. It these reports, it has been realised than the dragons have sone sort of a mating season, without the scientists being able to determine the rhythm of those. But the priest of Teroyura decided dragon mating season was a sacred season when everybody should stop activities and just make place in their hearts and calendars to send off the dragons with music and dancing. That way the births would be even more efficient and the magic given to us by the dragons would be even more strong.
As writers in this most serious scientific journal, we would rather enjoy doing to these magical theories. Nonetheless, it is worth mentioning until further questioning and testing has been done on the matter.
