History

Shortly after the world was populated by the gods metal was found in a forested area and was quarried out by a group of unknown peoples. The camp they founded built foundations and the soil for growing that would eventually make for prime town building after The Fall. In the panic of The Fallen Era, in an attempt to save their quarry and town, the people enacted a ritual to summon a savior that resulted in the flooding of the quarry. The hole that opened continues to fill the lake with water and fish. When the Fallen Era ended and people could leave the high stone walls they hid behind, a group of humans founded a town beside the quarry lake. This is what is now known as Crestfield. The people of this town started being visited when the bastions of man flooded out into the world and their kindness and hospitality became renown. When a plague started spreading through the town they found themselves visited by a mysterious healer. The healer, Shiela, stayed with them after the towns people were clear of the plague and is there to this day.
