Worship of the mystics
Due to the mystic's power being fueled by being worshiped, there are a lot of cults and profaganda created- errr I mean influenced- by the mystics theirsleves.
The lesser known method
A lesser known way for the mystics to gain power is to take it from other mystics. Lots of rivalries- and even wars- are sparked from this method. Some especially brutal mystics will hallow out the bodies of other mystics they killed to use as trophies. SOme mystics put more emphasis on this ncome of power than other mystics do.
