Tree Top House

My people are more at home in the treetops.
Alenia Trislee
The Wood Elves build their cities and town high in the trees. The cities are connected by platforms and tree houses. The houses are built from whatever wood the elves can use at the time. The houses are simple and built to be practical.   These buildings have multiple uses but are usually used as houses. The houses themselves are small, but they are better than nothing. The houses are comfy and simple.
Image waking up every morning and looking at the sun drip through the leaves. This is what I woke up to every day during my childhood. I use to sit by my window for hours looking at the forest's canopy.

Purpose / Function

Everyone needs a place to call home.
The tree house is used as a home for Wood Elves and everyone else who lives in their country. These houses are also used as temples. The main purpose is to shelter the elves from the elements and protection from wild animals.

Contents & Furnishings

Wooden tables and chairs can be found in this tree house. There are cots for sleeping. Chests for storage. Enchanted fireplaces are used to cook and warm the house. The enchantment is to stop the house from burning down the house and the rest of the forest.

Architecture

The house is built around the trees. The foundation of the houses is wrapped around the tree trunk. With support beams drilled into the trunk to keep the house stable. The house is circler because it is easier to build that way around the tree. The roof of the house is angled upward and attached to the trunk. This makes the main room of the house. There are square windows and spaced out. The rest of the house is attached by wooden bridges to similar structures.
