Chancellor Fort-Henry Baphomann

Baphomann is a mysterious man hailing from the city of brass Infernus in the fire elemental plane, he skyrocketed business when he arrived in Portemort and crushed his competition. Since 1481 AF years he has been the prime vault for the republic, Changing laws to make his business easier.
In 1510 AF, after evidence of an assassination attempt on Baphomann were made public, the Assembly of Portemort decided to elect a new Duke of Portemort, to replace Karl Franz XXVII who was the contract giver. He has yet to become officially duke, he needs the Scepter of Portemort to symbolically rule.
After getting a hold of the Scepter, Baphomann summoned the Dukes to elect a new King, and the election produced King Vadim. Vadim named Baphomann Chancellor of Vostroya, giving him total legislative control.

Factories

Baphomann has helped tremendously in the start of industry in Portemort, bringing steam engines and large automated forges into the City. Many of his workers are refugees from Infernus and residents of the Sewers, because they cost less and are more expendable. His factories are the main source of revenue because of his weapons manufacturing. He has already created large amounts of guns to arm the Arbiters, it is only a matter of time before he arms everyone. Next in line was to be the Common Army, after a deal between him and Marshal Zversky
