Eterian

The Eterians stand as a pivotal cornerstone in the historical fabric of the known universe, originating from the ancient world of Etera. It's believed that Etera was colonized around 2,000 eternums after the invention of FTL (Faster Than Light travel), placing the estimated date of colonization at around 23,000E AU. Over the ensuing thousand eternums, Eterian culture blossomed. As one of the earliest organized intergalactic civilizations to master space travel and colonization, they held a vital position in the network of interstellar societies. Their substantial contributions to the collective knowledge and governance of the known universe are well acknowledged, having pioneered many systems and ideas that later contributed to the formation of the UEA.
Physically, the Eterians bore a notable resemblance to the early humans, though the specifics of their common origin had been lost to time. They were of average height and build, with a diverse range of skin tones, hair colors, and eye colors. Their lifespan extended to approximately 150 years, significantly longer than their human predecessors, thanks to their early advancements in medical technology.
Etera, once a shining beacon of civilization, was known for its grand cities and vast libraries housing knowledge from across the cosmos. Its towering spires and expansive metropolises bore testament to the advanced Eterian society and their mastery of technology and governance. Although the Eterians faced eventualn dispersal and near extinction over time, Etera's legacy endures, with the present-day realm referred to as "New Etera" (see The Fall of Old Etera on The History of the Octant timeline and Etera ). Today, it remains a hub of historical and cultural significance, attracting scholars and explorers eager to delve into the origins and contributions of this influential subspecies.   Echolite, Luminan, Scarpine, and Rimkind, originating from different regions within the Octant, are all known to share a common Eterian ancestry.
