Tyra Severanas

Tyra Sevranas

Retired Soldier, Veteran of the War against the Horde, this Battle Matron stood, when so many died. Seeing some of the most brutal hand to hand combat that the War offered.   Barely 25 members of her 150 warrior company held the line against Bugbears and Hobgoblins. That Fateful day, her Daughter had stood beside her as a proud member of the company. Tyra still does not know whether not finding her body in the ruinous carnage was a blessing or not.   As the survivors were shuffled off to other companies to patch up losses, she was informed that her husband had also died, in a raid on the Homefront.   Somehow, despite the Rage and Loss, Tyra survived her service, and was rewarded with a Parcel of Land as Randsom. No longer just a peasant, but a ranking CITIZEN of the Empire.   Now all she has to do, is find that land, and claim it, all the time wondering just how many of those 25 survivors have lived to attempt the same.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Tall, and well built without being overly muscled, Tyra has maintained a solid level of fitness, despite her age. Still wearing the Empire's Mail with Pride and Dignity.

Facial Features

Tyra's face is perpetually set in a stern glare, made ever more unsettling by the fact it is with only one piercing blue eye.

Apparel & Accessories

The Cloth tied around her head is a neatly trimmed portion of banner from her dead company. Given that it is covering an old and healed wound, she keeps it clean and wrapped out of respect.   On her hip, a longsword remains in its scabbard, despite her eagerness to utilise Morningstar and Shield. No-one recalls ever watching her draw it in anger.

Religious Views

"Ugh, I don't know anymore.  There's plenty who take the God's wishes to heart, but I just...  I don't know anymore.  It's hard to believe in one who wishes light to be spread into the darkness, when all of your lights are extinguished around you..."

Hailing from Ludstvo, Tyra is a Veteran of the War, having lost her Family to the Horde, and eventually her Husband. Retired with a promise of a Parcel of Land, she has entered the Portal to Claim her Portion, or Die Honorably Trying.

The Sunrise Dilemma
Arrival at Sunrise.

So, I am here now.   By the frilliest of Lia Marrin's underwear, I have no clue what the heck I am supposed to do now. The papers have been served, and now I am Lady Sevranus, landholder of Sunrise.   This isn't how it was supposed to go.   You were supposed to be here, Rhian. You were my rock, my center, my dedicated wisdom. You knew how to farm, how to motivate, how to keep going through more means than just... pig headed stupidity. I mean, Ive got that stubbornness down at least. But you knew what was right and proper. But all I have of you now is your Sword. Plucked from your hand, and still undrawn from its scabbard since that day. I'm going into this alone.   Kira, this... this was all for you. This landhold was to be my legacy for you. So you would not have to continue to be a soldier, to not risk your life, to grow up and enjoy life and be more than you ever could have been.   And now I have nothing of you. The Enemy took that away. Took you away from me. Every last scrap and piece, but the tangled shard of love I have for you embedded in my heart where not even the gods can pull it loose.   And now... Now I hear there are a whole camp of Hobgoblins near my land... And I do not think I can find any forgiveness. Not while my love for you is that broken spear point, jammed into my heart.   Forgive me, all I do in your name, Kira. Forgive me, all I do without your guidance, Rhian.

Day 7:

The Road has finally stopped and we're in Traderport. The inn's bigger than expected, but apparently its the only inn, so that makes sense.   But thats where I start to get troubled.   This is likely the last bit of Civilisation we're going to encounter, before we really head off into the Wilderness. I am not sure these... Well, I can't really call them *Children* when one of them's an Elf now, but these City folk who have barely spent a night out in the forest. The Elf indeed, you can tell he's had a rough life - and playing Bodyguard isn't going to be any easier on him. But he's used to people around. The Mage, well, I don't think its sunk in to him that this'll likely be the last bed he sees for months.   Still. I guess they still have me, as rusty as this old Woman is getting.   I admit, when they mentioned seeing Goblins, I froze.   Luckily, I say most ironically, they were just the mundane everyday Goblins, and they were dispatched fairly easily. The Elf's wound notwithstanding. I'll have to have a chat with him later.   But still. I could have shown a LITTLE Mercy. Maybe even a little Restraint.   But I didn't.         I'm so Sorry, Kira.

Day 0:

HOW much Ale did I drink?
