Arena of Aygh

The coward dies a thousand deaths, the Hero has but one

Once used only for ritual bloodsport after the funeral of an important member of Hune society, the Arena has recently become much busier, hosting events nearly every month, and sometimes weekly.

Purpose / Function

The Arena is actually 3 separate complexes, from the smallest, which specifically hosts one-on-one combat, to the Bucket, the largest arena capable of housing 60,000 rowdy, rabid citizens.

Alterations

The alterations to the building complexes have been almost completely cosmetic, owing to the strength, and innate beauty, of Flowstone.

Architecture

The architecture is classic Sauroid, built by magically sculpting a blend of rocks, such as granite and marble, and various metal ores together into a material known as flowstone. The style of architecture done by this civilazation flows very organically, with a predilection for texturing the flowstone in a variety of textures based off of their reptilian scales.

History

A building complex built by Sauroids from flowstone. Thousands of years old, it's original purpose has been lost to the ages. It was obviously meant to put on displays of various sizes in front of other beings, and that became it's function as Baezwar was settled.
