Folkekirken
The Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Denmark is referred to as "Folkekirken", which loosely translates to the People's Church. About 75% of the Danish population are members - though mostly out of tradition and the large amount of paperwork to get out if you are born into it.
Folkekirken is the national Church of Denmark and one of the two only orgaizations that can legally constitute a marriage - the other one being City Hall.
Though Folkekirken is a national Church this doesn't mean that Denmark is full of religious zealots (though yes, those do exist and thanks to the Paternoster they drive most Sleepers and Sleepwalkers crazy on a daily basis). To great amusement for the Pentacle Orders - and great annoyance to the Paternoster - most Danes in modern times are quite secular and rely on the Lutheran Church for a minimal part of their lives. Baptisms, Confermations, Weddings and Funerals are the maximum of what most Danes use the Church for.
