Gnomes

When I discovered that gnomes live as long as elves do I was surprised. Gnomes, at least the ones that I've met, spend most of their time inside tinkering with various thing. It was one such gnome that made me the quill with a built in ink well.   Despite insistence that there are gnome subspecies, I am not certain that there are enough differences to discuss. If I find I am wrong, I will amend the Codex.

  I have included information about the Deep Gnomes, Princess. We had one of them with the Guild form a while, but he was recently KiA.

Gnomes reproduce in the usual way.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Gnomes are able to see 60 feet in darkness and dim light, but can't discern color in darkness..
Deep gnomes are able to see double the distance, and be able to identify color in darkness.

Naming Traditions

Gnomes usually only give their given name, clan name, and a nickname when introducing themselves.
