General Physical Condition
Blackbeard is a heavy and towering individual with very aristocratic pirate attire of black, red, orange, and subtle purple. His long beard and curly hair that drops to his waist is a void of darkness while the ends perpetually glows a dull red and smokes as if burning, leaving his surrounding to smell liked singed hair. His eyes glow the same dull red glow and he often has a wicked smile adorned with missing teeth. Shadows seem to be drawn toward him and flames seem to dance more wildly in his presence.
Special abilities
Blackbeard has a mastery over hellfire that he was born with and the abyssal darkness granted by The Book of Vile Darkness; a terrifying combination considered impossible to attain by any mortal. He always uses both in tandem, leaving himself very few weaknesses, even against radiance which usually counters both.

Once created by the forgotten god of evil magic, Vecna recorded in its pages every diseased idea, every unhinged thought, and every example of blackest magic he came across or devised. Vecna covered every vile topic he could, making the book a gruesome catalog of all mortal wrongs and routes of evil. When the divine gate was established and Vecna was left to hiding, the book laid waiting for its next owner to turn to a vessel to serve evil and fill its pages with more vile imaginations. After a long line of owners used as the book's puppet; Blackbeard finally found it after years of searching and took it for his own. No one understands how, but Blackbeard managed to take control of the book in a way not even Vecna foresaw. This book dedicated to serve the concept of evil was swayed to serve Blackbeard, granting authority over the book never thought possible by a mortal. The power of this book is what granted Blackbeard power over Abyssal Darkness, control over evil-aligned individuals, and vast knowledge of all things evil; among other vile powers. There were some scholars back in his era that feared the result of his death, as he was the only one that could reign the evils within the book and what would happen if this immortal tome fell into the capable hands of one that did worship evil. He currently stores the book within his beard, which acts as an untraceable pocket dimension.

Motivation
Blackbeard desires to return to The New World in a complete physical form and conquer it as he did before. He does not seek to rule the world or domineer over people per see, simply to do whatever he desires and demonstrate his power with no resistance. The way he sees it, he already conquered the world with his power and simply has to remind everyone.
Those with his kind of power often appear asinine as they seem to worship evil and whatever forces seem to deliver. He wants to assert to these fools that he does not serve evil, rather that evil serves him and him alone, crushing anything that attempts to take advantage of him and the power he wields.
