Aquan (Tribe of Aquarius)

All of the Aquan Peoples are gifted with the blessings of Water. This manifests differently between clans, however all Aquan peoples are amphibious and can breathe both above and below the water and are natural swimmers.
Because of their amphibian nature and natural swimming proficiency, Aquans tend to live in or near shallow waters. These conditions are generally found in the mainland marshes in the Lowlands, and in the Straight between the Island and Mainland. Aquans protect themselves by living in water filled caves, open to the air on the inside. This allows the Aquans to fall back to the air when attacked by water type Pokemon gaining the upper hand, while being safe from land dwelling Predators.
Being expert and experienced seafarers, Aquans provide safe passage across their hazardous waters, supplying an expert guide and quick transportation. Aquans are also experienced fisherman, and can supply rare dyes to those who desire added ornamentation.
Most Aquans have two methods of breathing; Through lungs while on land, and through their skin in the water. Because of this Aquans prefer to keep their skin clean and wear easily removable clothing, more so near water than elsewhere. They also tend to secrete a slimy sweat to help maintain their skin.
