Welcome to the Mainframe; your time here is valued because you are unique, just like everyone else! You must have been someone special to end up here; you’re a lot to live up to. But you won’t remember that, will you?   Now, while you’re here, you might as well enjoy your stay. We have a variety of large cities to choose your place of residence in, and enough jobs to go around for everyone; our unemployment rate is as low as 0.78% in some of our towns! We’re a world full of technology, from the smallest macrocomputer to the tallest superscraper, even our residents are mixed up in it! You’re likely confused, we’d assume, unless you’ve been here your entire life or are programmed to not be confused - in which case, feel free to find your own way through to your destination without reading a word more. Otherwise, your first stop should be New Sanwood, the working centre of our world - you can find a lot of miscellaneous jobs aside from your casting and programming here, just ask around and you can likely find one to suit your skills!   If you’ve been escorted past a set of gates by one of our lovely security synthetics, and arrived upon a bustling city centre that likely hurts your eyes - which, don’t worry, you can certainly get fixed, replaced, or assisted by someone within the city’s borders if it comes to it - you’ll be in Finnton Point, the arrival zone of the majority of our valued population. You can pick up your assigned gear, maps, and anything else your casting provided you with from the help centre in the square, just remember not to lose your registry card given to you by the monitors, or you will not be in a good situation legally - but it’s nothing for you to worry about right now. Just keep that card safe and all will be well!   If you’re a recently awakened patient of one of our Cryosleep services, you’re likely in East Glenhang, one of our larger cities. Don’t worry, the scientists there are trained for helping you to gather your bearings after you’ve returned to a (hopefully) better world than the one you fell asleep in. Once you’ve returned fully to a conscious state of living, make your way southwest past Biclenward and Lipvis, but stop before you reach Northurt. You can’t miss New Sanwood from there, just look for the green stripes of light on the walls and lining the nearby paths.   Don’t worry, you’ll do just fine here in the Mainframe, just stick to the paths and follow your casting.   Welcome to the family!
