The Magick Underground

The Magick Underground (simply the Underground for short) is a pocket dimension built centuries ago under the direction of the powerful sorceress Morgan le Fay upon the death of Arthur Pendragon. It was built parallel to and slightly overlapped with the Mundanes' world over Britannia as a safe haven for magick-users and magickal beings, as Guinevere ordered for their destruction following the war that killed Arthur.   It has grown and expanded in modern times, the commonwealth governed and maintained by the renowned Circle of Ascension council, and in its modern form flourishes with business and academia. Magickal beings can travel easily between the Underground and aboveground, but travel is strictly regulated by the council and their Knights. Unregulated travel and unauthorized gates are heavily punished by the Knights, who keep order within the Underground.   Mundanes, however, are strictly prohibited from entering the Underground. They can only enter with the assistance of a magickal being. Mundanes found within the confines of the Underground are to be escorted out immediately.
