Disbandment

A meteor crashed directly into Meridigm, the grand capital of Baltaim's Empire. Fragments of the meteor spread out directly into other major population centers, such as Saathar and Sifena. Shortly afterwards, Durgak Baltaim Stoneshield, the last High King of the Empire, was presumed to be missing. The Empire dissolved overnight, as all sense of central government was destroyed with the capital.
