Centuries ago, there was magical kingdom where many races worked together to achieve the heights of magic, technology and culture. Many disagree as to why it was lost but the story goes that humans began a Great War over control of this Kingdom which ultimately lead to its destruction and the devastation of the human population. In the aftermath of the Annihilation, humans were found to be responsible for the horrors of the war and surviving groups were demilitarized. To this day, they have not returned to their former power or population levels. Knowledge of the Lost Kingdom and all its treasures, inventions and magical advancements remain only in the living memory of the oldest races. The wonders lost in its capital and its people is incomparable and can be likened only to the burning of the library of Alexandria in our world. The empty flattened space it once occupied is a toxic and deadly area which even outlaws and bandits avoid. Anxiety and fears escalate throughout the land as a new prophecy spreads. Another Great War is coming and this time, it will engulf all the world.
