Halia Thornton
Halia is in charge of Phandalin and formerly The Phandalin Miner's Exchange. She is an ambitious and calculating human woman. The exchange still serves as an unofficial records office, registering claims to various streams and excavations around the area.
Has a working relationship with Theobald Wilmont through their connections with The Zhentarim.
Halia has plans to "change the leadership" of Phandalin by removing The Lords' Alliance and taking over to restore order and bring greater economic prosperity. To do so she plans to remake the Redbrand Ruffians with her influence over their leader, Jack Redbrand.
Halia knows the ancient story of Wave Echo Cave and is helping the 'Ardboys on their quest to find it.
