Elemental Forge

The Master Craftsmen were hard at work. Normally they would work independent of the other, but for this sword, they were all needed. They worked together each taking one step of the process. A couple hammering, a few tempering, one to cool, and the Forge Wizards working together to prepare the enchantment. It took over a week of working for this one sword, a feat that has never been done except this one time.   Exhausted, the Master Craftsmen presented the sword to the high Council. The High Council placed the finished product and took it to the council room and placed it on the table in front of all of them.   "This is the most powerful weapon we have ever created, it is the pinnacle of our power. What should we do with it?"   "We should destroy it before it falls into the wrong hands."   ---Excerpt from Grey Harbor History

Purpose / Function

The Great Forge is the location where all items are crafted and created. Swords are made next to nails, on the other side of the room wagons are being created next to chairs and tables.

Architecture

The Elemental Forge is built into the side of a mountain that partially surrounds the city. The Forge is a large stone room, near the back of the room are the 10 Great Forges, while along the sides starting from in front of the Great Forges and moving towards the entrance, are 2 rows on each side of regular blacksmith stations.   Along the back wall, behind the Great Forges is a large set of doors, currently closed and only opened via magic.

Environmental Effects
The Elemental Forges are hot. Even when the Forges are not running, the room has a humid, sticky heat that can be felt as soon as you walk into the building. Oddly, this heat does not effect anyone in the forge that is working.
