The Loneliness of Moony Moore

The coastal town of Deben Market. A ghost story. A tale of betrayal and murder.   Alistair Byrne, a writer struggling with a failed and very public relationship, relocates to a small coastal town in East Anglia looking for peace, calm and inspiration.   He meets and befriends a local fisherman.   From there things only get stranger. A night on the sea, tall tales, apparitions, visions, abuse, rescue, death and murder.   This is the story of the good life of Moony Moore, the bad things people do, the nature of the dead, and the patterns of life.   It was a cloud filled dangerous looking night sky under which Alistair drove as he enter the coastal town of Deben Market. He didn't know the town, indeed he had never heard of it, but had been assured by his friend that it was just the thing for peace and quiet. His friend had lent him the keys to an apartment in the town's High Street, above a florist. No mention of the reason for this much needed getaway. The embarrassment of the previous evening not quite forgotten, but certainly forgiven and never to be mentioned again.
