Unified Kingdom of Anglo-Saxon England, the Scot-Highlands, the Wales Dragon Protectorate, Protestant Ireland, and Undersea Doggerland

The More Well-Known of the Two Englands

Overview

The Unified Kingdom of Anglo-Saxon England, the Scot-Highlands, the Wales Dragon Protectorate, Protestant Ireland, and Undersea Doggerland, better known as the Unified Kingdom, and abbreviated in writing as the UK-ESDPIUD, is a country located in the British Isles and the submarine area of Doggerland, between the Isles and the rest of the continent of Europa. It is a constitutional monarchy with a tricameral parliament that rules the third-biggest country in Europa proper, only smaller in area than the Federation of Prussia-Austria-Hungary-Poland-Lithuania, and the Republic of Iberia-Andalus and Northern Africa. It shares borders with the previously mentioned PAHPL Federation, the United Kingdom of Norman England and France, Holland-Belgium, and the Netherlands.

History of the Unified Kingdom

The Unified Kingdom originally started as just the Kingdom of Anglo-Saxon England, when Harold Godwinson and William the Conquerer stalemated the Battle of Hastings in 1066, resulting in the Siege of Old London and drafting of the Treaty of Norman and Anglo-Saxon Englands, that marked the border between the Two Englands in 1069. The Kingdom would later unify with the Federation of the Scot-Highlands under Queen Annalise II in 1503 in the Treaty of the Gaelic and Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms. The Dragon-Nation of Wales would seek protection from the Unified Kingdom after the Battle of the Strait of Ireland, becoming an official Protectorate under Anglo-Saxon King Frederick V and Adenydd-Llydan III in 1677. The Free Republic of Protestant Ireland, which split from the Catholic Republic of Eíre in 1790, would join the Unified Kingdom in 1795. After the discovery of the Livable Doggerland Territories, and the resulting War of Doggerland in 1800, the Unified Kingdom gained the Doggerland Territories as its own in 1812.

Colonies and Overseas Territories

During the Age of Great Discovery, the Unified Kingdom set up colonies in the newfound Northern and Southern Colombia. Their colony of New Edinburgh on the Eastern Seaboard of Northern Colombia was a very successful source of lumber, but the America Plague wiped out much of the original population, only surviving by integrating with the local Haudenosaunee settlements, forming the present-day semi-independent State of Iroquois and New-Highlands.   The Southern Colombia colony of New Cardiff was far less successful than New Edinburgh. The attempted sugar plantation {built off Norman-French sugar plants stolen by privateers} failed spectacularly, and New Cardiff was conquered by the Norman-French turned Andalusian-Iberian colony of Arwraq d'Émerahdra during the War of the Second Coalition.

Coat-Of-Arms

The Royal-Coat-Of-Arms of the Royal Family of the Unified Kingdom features a Cardiff Dragonhound on sinister with a daffodil in its mouth, a Scots-Highland Unicorn on dexter with a thistle in its mouth, an Irish Snakehare on subter with a shamrock in its mouth, and a Doggerland Auroch Bull on supra with seaweed in its mouth. The shield they surround features the four flags of the Scots-Highlands (featuring the cross of St. Andrews), the Wales Dragon Protectorate (featuring the white dragon of Cmryu), Protestant Ireland (featuring the cross of St. Patrick), and Doggerland (featuring the cross of St. Clement) around the Anglo-Saxon Lion who holds a rose in its mouth and always faces west, towards the State of Iroquois and New-Highlands, which is represented by a cardinal holding a blooming dogwood branch. Under this is the motto of the Kingdom: Mansuetus Draco Europae, or ‘Gentle Dragon of Europe’, referencing the Kingdom’s peacemaking and unwarlike history.
