Hello,

To cut straight to the point, I think we should recruit Anthony Woodsman, the lone witness to the Fiddler Incident that we have contact with. None of the other victim/perpetrators have been found by police or us so far. Anthony is the only connection to them, and he’s a Quillier at the very least. So I say that we get him on our team before another wearer of the Crown of Laurels gets to him. Your thoughts?

I say we get him on. ███████ thought Mr. Woodsman was the real deal when he first gave the report to Teresa, and she saw his feathers too. Given his background in technical theatre, he’d likely make for a good Listen Closely, especially with his ability to sense ‘slipping’. What say you, Defense Head?

I say yes. This kid seems like a good prospect; even has some telltale signs of being a Descendant. Perhaps a Stageplayer or Retainer? We should do a Pedigree Check or two. Even if he isn’t connected to a proven bloodline, a real Listener would be a true treat. Get him some experience at Broadway under mine muse’s eye, stabilize him if he’s at risk of going Angel, or, hell, we could use a frontman that isn’t a depressed barkeep! I say yes.

Good day to you, Overseer.
The leadership of London Branch; being me, Salaryman, of course, Myriad, and Coverless, have come to a consensus concerning the Fiddler Incident. We have decided that it is in the best interests of the Branch and the Society as a whole to recruit Mister Anthony Woodsman as a member. He is a Songbird Devotee, the only witness to the Fiddler Incident with whom we have established confirmed contact, and has been marked, but not killed, by a confirmed user of the Crown of Laurels. Recruiting Mr. Woodsman would have several advantages for all parties involved: it would put a potential future Angel under supervision, we would attain a new Listener variant Bird of a Feather, and Mr. Woodsman would receive protection from the Crown of Laurels users; namely those known as Patricia Lion, tentatively classified ‘Tyrant’, Bernard Innsworth, tentatively classified ‘Accomplice’, and Rutherford Lewis, tentatively classified ‘Usurper’.
We only require your approval to approach Mr. Woodsman with our proposal, and to use force if necessary should he resist in a preternatural way, and/or suddenly go Angel. Should we be successful in our recruitment efforts, I would also ask you to Open Mr. Woodsman’s eyes completely; you are by far the best Looking-Glass we currently have access to (Theory remains in New York alongside Courier, and Microscope is still hospitalised in Singapore) and to assign him a Jian-like ENTITY until he gets himself a permanent Familiar.
