Sheikah Meat Pie
Ingredients
4 cups of flour
1 cup of water
1 tbsp of palm fruit oil
1 pound of ground beef
1 tbsp of minced ginger
1 tbsp of Hylian rice wine
1 tbsp of light soy sauce
2 tsps of dark soy sauce
1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
1 finely chopped onion
2 minced swift carrots
1 tsp of cane sugar
1 1/2 tsps of rock salt
Directions
1) Add flour to a large bowl, then slowly add water and mix until fully blended. Dust hands with dry flour and knead dough until there's no dry flour left. Dust a working surface with flour and transfer dough. Knead until the dough's surface is smooth. Wrap the dough in wax paper and let sit for 30 minutes. 2) Combine beef, ginger, wine, soy sauces, and pepper. Mix well until the liquids are fully absorbed by the meat. 3) Divide dough into 8 equal parts. Roll the dough into round disks. 4) Once dough is ready, combine the meat with the onion, carrot, salt, and sugar and mix well. 5) Brush some oil onto the surface of the dough disks and add about 2-3 tbsps of meat to each disk. Fold the dough as you would a bun, then flatten. 6) Heat the oil in a skillet on medium, then transfer the pies onto the skillet and brush the tops with oil. Remember to keep all uncooked pies that you're not currently working with wrapped in wax paper to prevent dough from drying out. 7) Cover skillet and cook pies on lower heat for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom crust is browned. Flip over pies and repeat. Serve hot.Preparation Time

8 piesSheikah vs. Hylian, yet another debate that has taken the culinary world by storm. The only point that those on each side of this question will agree on is that if you like a thicker, softer crust, Hylian is the way to go. If you prefer a thinner, crispier crust for that oft coveted meat to crunch balance, you may want to consider permanently moving to Kakariko Village.
