The Known Regions An extraterrestrial planet named Exiphus where humans evolved away from mankind
The Known Regions takes place on an extraterrestrial planet named Exiphus. Upon its discovery, humankind sent out a group of people to explore and eventually inhabit the land. Through evolution, these humans fused with the local biology of the planet are no longer exist, instead identifying as numerous different species. These first human explorers are reffered to as the "ancient humans".
