Nightlands
Geography
In the God Era, this area was a fertile grassland with many natural resources and rich animal life. When the gods fell, some of them fell to earth. Their blood soaked into the land and forever changed its topography. The trees grow as large as mountains. The canopy is so thick that no sunlight gets through, not even on the brightest days. There are sink holes big enough to swallow elephants and marshes filled with sharp rocks. A river runs through the forest, filled with deep red water as thick as blood and hot as lava. The air is so thick in some places that it is impossible to breathe.
Fauna & Flora
Demonwood trees grow in abundance deep within the forest along with other mutated plants and vegetation. Animal life is minimal, but what remains has evolved to hunt and devour.
