Elemental maidens

"Nature can be a fickle Mistress, Why should her daughters be any different?"

The Elemental maidens are the four personifications of nature. Many a culture has many a story about their conception, though if any are true they choose not to say.   They are ageless, enigmatic beings. Some choosing to rule their dominion in subtlety whilst others choose to make their presence known and heard.

Nymphs

River maidens whom morph into thick blackness when submerged in their habitats. Despite being Amphibius in nature, they seem to favour leaving her near transparent faces above the water; floating above the gentle rivers with their thick black hair spaced out like tree roots. When out of the water, however, they take the form of nude young woman.   There's many a tale in many a culture of cocky men trying to seduce these creatures, only to be washed away in conjured tides for their bravado. Despite usually being playfully sadistic in nature, they tend to do no harm unto others unless they deem it justified. As such there's many a tale in many a culture of cocky men trying to seduce these creatures, only to be washed away in conjured tides for their bravado.

Undine

It is said that Undine, the Nymph mother, first guided settlers to the mouth of the river Altenia. There they found ever potable water and fertile soils fit to grow a thousand year's worth of grain. Undine adored Humans and upon her deparcher, she decreed that her daughters would settle within the borders of the then fledgling settlement. To which they gladly obliged.   After the great collapse, the daughters would sing a a gently melancholic lament to the fallen, also serving as a constant reminder of their failure. Some chose to wollow in their past, whilst others chose to aid and guide those who wished to scavage the fallen city.

Dryads

The daughters of the forest; notable for their bark-like skin. They are said to be incredibly timid in nature, choosing to stay in their tree in-which they inhabit.   There are barely any recorded sightings of these timid maidens, unlike their Nymph cousins, Only existing in legend and mythos around the continent. It is said that they taught Wyressess the ability of 'Spirit harbouring'; the ability to inhabit Elms in particular. thus leading to the name 'Witch-Elms.'

Pyra

The dancers of flame; they spin and move their body in unimaginably graceful way, drawing those close to their warmth whilst also burning those who dare to get too close.

Kishna

It is said that Kishna, the ancestral homeland of civilization began when a powerful ruler married a Pyra; Her name was Elah (eelah). Together they led their people out of the dark. Her graceful movements and namesake was the probable insporation behind 'Coryphee Elah', A type of dance that has been enjoyed the world over. It found a small cult following in the Western third of the world when a popular Amani dancer, Romana, introduced it as a part of her traveling act. The dance involves the dancer wearing long sashes, tied to the waist and wrists. The tips are then lit on fire moments before preforming.
