Mudju-Hek

Magician, or more specifically Word Magician. The most misunderstood practice of magic is innate Heka, where the practitioner can understand the power of the written words and manipulate Heka from them. Long ago the gods’ words were magic onto themselves. Innate Heka is a fraction of what the gods were able to do. Mudju-Hek, “Word magicians”, have this ability to read such words and perform magic. The Khemitians have mixed feelings on this. For some it’s a reflection on the Hyborian Hedgemony and their “Wizards” who attacked Khemit. For others, it could be a sign of older magic. The Heset are in a similar position in their practice
