Personal history

He was born into a peaceful town called Belmont. Here he lived a peaceful, ordinary life in his youth. He had a good upbringing, and he had plenty of friends whom sought him out for comfort and protection because of his caring nature. He spent most of his time helping out his parents with horse trading and work in the stables. When he came of age he served some time in the militia where he did very well, much thanks to his bulky and enourmus size. His parents grew old and died after a good life. Norman took over the family business but let his apprentice and close familiy friend Einar manage it. Norman never married for some reason. He saw the fruits of comradery which the military brought him and was always a welcoming fella. At the age of 36 he had had a good life. After the heroism he displayed after Belmont was attacked he was quickly promoted to major, and even got to know the king personally after that time. He was later set to serve in the vanguard which suited Norman perfectly. Norman was brave, cared for his friends and had the nessecary build and then some for the task. Norman was very fond of king Marlon and saw him as a kind, just and a true leader. His assassination took a toll on Norman as he had served him for many years. His young son had to take over his father's throne, but even though Norman yearned for his success, he wasn't close to what his father was. He decided to take a less active role as a vanguard, so that he would aid his son more effective way. He therefore left and decided to carry on his old kings legacy in the shadows.
He sold his stable cheap to his apprentice as a wedding gift. He took his favorite horse, Maggie, and headed out. His first task was to increase the numbers of those who were loyal to the crown, and punish those who would oppose the crown.

He servered in the militia for 8 years and rose up to the rank for major. Not only was he a skilled tactician but his combat style and sheer force made him a formidable foe to his enemies, and a great leader to his men. He had a strong sense of friendship and loyalty to his men and would put himself in harms way in order to protect them. He was therefore known as the Bulwark of Belmont.

He was bullied for his enourmus size as a child, but his size did not but a damper on his wit, so he retaliated when his hand was forced.

The loss of his parents was hard on him, though he doesn't talk about it, his face tend to reveal his emotions very clearly.
