In the five years since the war between the Jusro Empire and Herdemoh had come to a shaky cease fire, the citizens of both countries still are not quite sure what to make of their new existence. Is war going to break back out at any second? Do they need to find a way to work with the people they have hated for centuries? There is tension throughout the land, even within those who are content with how the war ended, few as they are.
Motivations here are complex and varied. Some, like the Aasimars, are inspired by a holy goal, others, such as many of the demons in Herdemoh, just want to be allowed to survive and live in their own ways. But what pushes people is sometimes hard to see, and it might be too late when you do realize what they are truly after.
In a world of clock work bombs and wizards who hide their spell books within their petty coats, opportunity if waiting behind every corner. Will those with the courage to take the opportunity they have been given fight for justice, war, or is there even a difference? Will they abuse those weaker than themselves or target those in power?
