Hallan's Pass

Hallan's Pass is a small city in the mountains of southern Melandre. Mainly a mining town, Hallan's Pass was built near the location of a legendary lost dwarven city. The miners of Hallan's Pass have been mining the mountain proudly for centuries, but there are rumors that the mines are running dry. Already in the mountainside outside the city, there are many abandoned mines. The city no longer competes with the sheer output of mining cities like Cromstaad, but it still provides Melandre with a large portion of their ores and ingots.
