The Idari arrives and takes up orbit around Akiton, preparing to colonise the planet.

A diplomatic delegation from the Pact Council - backed by the entire fleet of the Pact Worlds - convinces the kasatha otherwise, and the Idari instead takes up a solar orbit between Verces and the Diaspora. Shortly afterwards, they submit a petition to join the Absalom Pact.
