The Disappearance of Cedric Barrow
Returning to his farmstead after recovering from the injuries he sustained in the attack on his farmstead, Cedric left Tribute on horse but never arrived back home. When Cedric's absence was brought to the group's attention in a letter by Sophitia, they rush back along the path to search for any sign of struggle.
Following a set of footsteps off the path, the group discovered the exposed remains of another poor soul. Whether or not the new corpse is related to Cedric's disappearance is still unknown, the group did follow a trail of strange footprints to a cave overrun by Vermyn. The Verymin warned them that death has taken Cedric, and that they were better off to leave him to his fate. Unable to convince the tunnel's inhabitants to let them pass, Cedric's trail has unfortuantely gone cold until such a time that the Vermyn capitulate or vacate the tunnels near Tribute.
