The Land Beyond the Dark Clouds, Baile

"The most populated continent, Baile is the center of civilization and strife both a beautiful, diverse landscape and war-torn, tormented countryside. Since before the Age of Fools Baile has been the playing field for political intrigue, cosmic struggles, and demonic trickery. Each and every man, woman, and child who stand on this land know from the moment they look into the stars that their existence is cursed, yet they know not why. Baile and it's history is saddening but one cannot deny it's wonderful sights when they lay eyes upon the Sky Spine or the Ivory Depths or even the Súil Ghloine Deserts. This continent is as great as it is terrible and I've been to every bloody corner."
—Mikaha Wulfhow, Ogre Adventuerer

Golden Coast & Bloodied Earth

As stated, Baile is a diverse continent with many many different environments this also means that it stretches on for miles and miles, it was once said that Jerimiah the Wanderer traveled on foot from one corner of Baile to the other a journey that took almost 3 years. Most who live on the coast will most likely live their lives never seeing the inland of Baile and the same can be said for those on the inland. As one would travel the many lands of Baile it would quickly become apparent that the thousands of years of war have left this world scarred and pocked for all time. But there is something that both the sailors and fishermen of the Ceo Bán Coast and the Kingsmen of the Jauh Panas Kingdom can both agree upon that this land is not as calm as a stroll along the beaches might make a fool believe.
"Ai, I've walked from the ass freezin' colds of the north to the brow meltin' suns of the east. I've seen men swallowed ole' by sea beast off the coast of Ceo Bán and I've watched hordes of Orx burn a village like it was a campfire to the east. But nothing quite frightens me like the mystery ale in Grá Sneachta I swear that bear of a tavern keeper uses goat piss in es' brew."
— Portia "Lil Burner" Krasgraten, Elven Bounter Hunter and self-proclaimed Lady of Good Drinks and Broads

A New Invention on the Horizon?

Not many know who to give the credit for the creation of those moving Fortresses, the Irons, but not many know if they would hug that person with tear-filled eyes or rip out his throat with hate-filled hearts, perhaps both? The Irons came and when the first track was built many of the onlookers expected a bright green explosion of wytch-fire and disappointment; after all, how was the common man supposed to put faith into the quackery of more experimental wytch science vehicles. But when that dark iron locomotive began to charge down the tracks faster than any horse could hope skeptics quickly became supporters. It quickly and suddenly revolutionized travel on Baile but when the Leanai make strides quickly do the wheels of war and corruption turn and it was not long before the Irons became tools of devastation.
