Baeleryia

"I am never greeted like an old friend. I am greeted like a cross between an impudent servant and a fungal infection."   Baeleryria is a minor elven god of death, primarily concerned with the death of traitors and martyrs. The problem is that Baeleryria despises her role in the Great Cycle. The deaths that she witnesses and reaps from are not pleasant - all backstabbing and melodrama which grates on her. And mortals! If she has to hear another damned bargain or pathetic pleading for their lives, she is going to scream  As a result, she is rather liable to excessive pedantry ("Oh, sorry, I don't think they're technically a traitor. And besides, they're about to die of the plague. That's really more Yanrthax's department.") and sarcasm. Judgement for Baeleryia is very quick and done entirely at random. She is petty, vindictive and is really stuck in a rut. When appearing to mortals, she just as often will pretend to be any other obscure god but the aesthetic never lies so these bluffs are never taken seriously.    She will ultimately do anything to divorce her nature to become a different sort of god.
