“Come to Resort Morpheus, where all your dreams and fantasies become reality.” Advertisement for The Dreammakers luxury resort package   So the game starts with the protagonist and several friends plus significant other, all of which you customize in appearance and personality , going up to this huge space station/adventure resort, where they make your dream vacation reality using hard light holograms and a modular terrain maker. Then someone takes over the whole system and uploads a horror program and disables all the failsafes. So, the game shifts and changes at the drop o a hat, but then you end up with an inventory of hard light items that you can pull from area to area, but then there's areas where there are no projectors, but there are haywire automated systems so you have to make weapons. And the whole thing is you trying to find and rescue your friends and significant other, and as the game continues, you have to start questioning whether the glimpses of them, and conversations are actually them, or the system fucking with you.
