The Great Wheel Turns...

  The great wheel is the centre of all things, its radiance keeps out the void beyond which threatens to devour all that is not touched by its light.   On the peripheries of the world lurk strange things from the edge of reality, creatures beyond comprehension that defy the laws of reality, in amongst them are the four parasites that feed on this world.   The only thing between them and the sacred flame is the material realms, short, simple and ugly places where our stories are set.   The people of Eort, the prime material realm look to the sky through squinted eyes, they watch as the Great wheel turns anxiously for every rotation the wheel stutters and very rarely...
