The Great Seas

The Great Seas are many things,
Treacherous,
Incomprehensible,
Deadly.
But people of various types always find a way to not only survive, but prosper, regardless of the situation. It is no different here in The Great Seas.
The Great Seas are the 4 bodies of water that make up the majority of the world, being divided by two large Phenomena:   The Red Line: A gigantic naturally made wall that stretches around the entire world Vertically. No person has ever been able to go over it, it's seen as impossible to do so. You would have no way of crossing this line, as it's height is unknown, the only way to cross The Red Line is to go through:   The Grand Line: An Ocean route that stretches around the world horizontally, and is the only way to cross The Red Line and reach the other side. This is seen as almost impossible though, as the ocean encompassing The Grand Line are known to be treacherous for any boat that goes into them, usually destroying the boat, and whoever's on it.   Most Pirates seek out The Grand Line because of it's challenge, as well as it's treasures, it's the definition of High Risk, High Reward. Only the strongest people, Pirate on not, live within the Grand Line, and reap it's benefits, but only one has ever been able to not only navigate the Grand line, but also Cross the Red Line:
Gol D. Roger: The King of the Pirates
Gol D. Roger was one of the strongest Pirates to ever live, keyword being was. Very recently, Gol D. Roger was captured by the Marines, and sentenced to death via Execution. How he was captured, and who was able to defeat him? No one truly knows, but he's being put to death Today.
That's where the story begins....
