Yvagarath

Yvagarath the ancient fey god of fate has spent aeons watching over Inosha's residents and guiding the strings of fate that can often be a laborious task when overlooking a generally immortal race.
Yvagarath is not immune from the ecosystem he inhabits. He feeds on unsuspected creatures either through force or trickery. It's not the nutrients of the body that he craves however. It is the differing strings of fate that the creature has. As he devours each of those future destinies he allows the victim to sit in an idealised future as their potential is slowly drained out of them.
After meeting the Cartography guild, he expected another hearty meal. He couldn't believe his luck as legendary heroes willingly submitted to his clutches. He was not expecting them to have such will to break free of the bonds of fate that held them captive.
Resorting to force against the party, he wanted to batter them into submission before consuming them once more, however he found himself thoroughly on the back foot. Unable to keep the heroes down with his litany of tricks, the god of fate was confused about this unexpected outcome. He decided a hasty retreat to reassess this group. The strings of fate may become intertwined again in the future.
