Divine Symbols

and there’s a book in the corner with what seems to be very reluctantly written etchings.

What Divine Symbol Are You???

Within the stars can be gleaned much: location, season, perhaps even the future if one reads the magics within the sky. But did you know that you could find yourself in the stars as well?! Based off of the constellations watching over you at your birth, you too could find new truths within yourself from the gifts the stars have given you!

Heart (Stagnate 60 to Renewal 60)

The first in our calendar cycle, the heart is comprised of a triangle of moons in our distant solar system. Unity, cooperation, and inspiration are the forerunners of those born under the Heart. Inherently sensitive to others’ needs, they have an inherent drive to motivate and nurture those around them. Pay attention to flights of fancy and a tendency to overwhelm yourself with your emotions.

Hammer + Chisel (Renewal 60 to Journey 60)

The hammer and chisel, a planet with a strangely shaped asteroid belt, provides intense focus to those gifted with its gaze. This focus typically leans toward the crafts: the stonesmith, carpenter, the cobbler and architect. But what one typically ignores in the pursuit of creation is the need to cut away imperfections, to trim the fat. Those bearing this divine symbol have a subtle ferocity toward their passions in spades of both creation and destruction. Be wary of ignoring the important factors of your life or intense stubbornness.

Feather (Journey 60 to Saga 60)

The feather is an entire solar system from our view, glittering and grand, and those that wear its symbol have a similarly grand scope of the world. Scholars, politicians, scribes and magicians, it is gifted to those who seek to reach heights deserving of their lofty pursuits (typically above their station, in fact). It is to soar the skies, to reach for the sun no matter how doomed the pursuit is. However high you soar, just be prepared for if you fall.

Vehicle (Saga 60 to Aspiration 60)

The vehicle exists in transience; a roving set of meteors that are as fickle as they are driven. People that these meteors bless are either focused entirely on the journey, or the destination ahead of them. Very mercurial folk, travelers and quick thinkers of all kinds, there is a dichotomy in personality that drives them either to be fast and fickle, or steadfast and unfettered. In either case, please make sure to look before you trample on something you care about.

Vessel (Aspiration 60 to Fortitude 60)

An inverted V of planets that appear along our horizon (as if to cup the moon or sun), the Vessels they bring are as blank a slate as they come: Inquisitive, curious with a drive for knowledge for knowledge’s sake – unlike our ambitious Feathers – the Vessel drinks in deep of its environment. With an empty beginning begets infinite potential and influence, incredibly inspired by the people around them. As such you may find it difficult to glean your own identity out of all the things you have picked up along the way.

Beast (Fortitude 60 to Despair 60)

Moons divorced from their planets and left to orbit each other in a sextet, independent of other celestial bodies’ guidance. The Beast is someone born of trepidation, struggle, and abandonment. They have found solace in unlikely places, which often includes themselves, and are attuned to their surroundings in unique ways. Independence, ferocity, and an incredible resilience grind against your soul as much as they give it strength. While you may find others to be disappointing at best and harmful at worst, please understand that even beasts travel in packs.

Sword (Despair 60 to Stagnate 60)

The feather’s solar system is grandiose and blossoming, but the Sword’s burns in a rough T shape with a particularly orange color as the result of a dying sun. The sword rounds out our calendar year in parallel to the Heart; blossoming not in nurturing blooms but in scorched soil. These individuals thrive off of chaos in many forms: strife, violence, heartache and despair. They are the most reliable in crises (with hope that they have not caused it themselves) with an unmistakable drive and passion not found in any other symbol here. You must take care, however, that in your drive to prove your prowess you do not cut off your own legs.
