Half-Ogre

Half-ogres were the offspring of a human and an ogre.

Description

Half-ogres had a height somewhere between that of a human and an ogre and taller than a half-orc, often between seven and eight feet (210 and 240 centimeters). They usually weighed between 315 and 425 pounds (143 and 193 kilograms).   A half-ogre's skin tone ranged from pale yellow to dull brown or even gray or black. Their thick skin was often covered in warts, and they had dark hair.

Personality

Generally Half-ogres were not very intelligent, and they typically were greatly lacking in self-control. They tended to enjoy the simple pleasures of life—eating, drinking, and partying.   Many half-ogres worship Vaprak, the god of ogres.   It should be noted that their chaotic alignment was not compulsory for all. Arzastra, a female half-ogre in Xanathar's keep was lawful good, for example.

Society

Half-ogres were generally thought of as large, strong, and stupid among human civilizations, but considered exactly the opposite way by ogre tribes. They were especially not trusted by dwarves or gnomes, because of their ancestry.

Subspecies

Ogrillons- Ogrillons (pronounced: /oʊˈgrɪlʌnz/ o-GRIL-unz or: /ˈɑːgrɪlʌnz/ AG-ril-unz) were the result of orcs and ogres breeding.   Description   Ogrillons looked very similar to orcs, but were often a little taller. Roughly 10% of ogrillons inherited the physical attributes of their ogre parentage and were clearly distinguishable from their orcish kin.   Although roughly the same size as orcs and other humanoids, ogrillons were considerably stronger.   Most ogrillons had bony protrusions on their shoulders, elbows, knuckles, hips, knees, and toes.   Behavior   Ogrillons lived in tribes. They often cooperated with orcs and were regularly used by orc groups as extra muscle.   Despite little use for currency, ogrillons often considered gold coins lucky and most ogrillons carried coins with them.   Although most ogrillons pursued barbarian or fighter roles, a minority chose to become clerics, monks or shamans.   Combat   Ogrillons thrived in combat and were uncomfortable and restless if not in a battle.   The use of weapons and armor varied. Although many ogrillons fought without weaponry or armor, others preferred to use clubs, greataxes and other large weapons while wearing hide armor.   Ecology   Ogrillons were carnivorous.   History   As of 1370 DR, ogrillons were one of the many creatures used as slaves in Menzoberranzan. At some point, the second house of Menzoberranzan (House Barrison Del'Armgo) owned roughly 250 slave ogrillons.   Notable ogrillons
