'The Coven'

'The Coven' is the title of a group of Eilistraee worshippers living in the western borders of Neverwinter Wood, south of Mount Hotenow. Their symbol consists of a bastard sword pointing skyward before the moon, in honor of Eilistraee all initiated members of the coven carry a pendant bearing the same symbol.

Beliefs

The Coven's mandate is the promotion of Eilistraee's worship, engendering good will between Drow and other civilized races in the hopes that the general perception of Drow by most folk may be changed, and to help Drow that have recently come above ground to adjust to life on the surface.
Among The Coven's teachings are:

• Life life well and fully, and waste nothing.
• Do not fear difficulty. A hard journey makes for a wiser, stronger traveler.
• The route to lasting peace is found within oneself.
